‘Pokemon Z’ Release Date Still Unconfirmed By Japanese Mag; 5 Forms of Zygarde Revealed
Fans who have been eagerly awaiting for major news on the release date of "Pokemon Z" may have to stretch their patience a bit more.
It's because the Dec. 15 issue of "Coro Coro," the Japanese magazine which has been a main source of "Pokemon" information, unfortunately didn't live up to expectations that it would finally make the big reveal on the highly-anticipated game, Movie Pilot reported.
Instead, the latest issue of "Coro Coro" included updates on the legendary "Pokemon" Zygarde which followers had a glimpse of in "Pokemon X and Y" and is rumored to be the main attraction of "Pokemon Z" whose release date is still being mulled over.
Featuring a screenshot of the legendary "Pokemon," the Japanese magazine revealed more details about the character, which is expected to sustain the enthusiasm of fans who have been on the lookout for the latest "Pokemon" news.
In the "Coro Coro" article, Zygarde's five different forms were shown, noting that its 50 percent form is "A serpent-like form that the core takes when it gathers 50 percent of its cellular structure from absorbing nearby cells."
On the other hand, its 100-percent form is "A more humanoid form, this is the perfect form of Zygarde that the core takes when it gathers 100% of its cells."
However, Movie Pilot noted that the legendary "Pokemon" had a blue core, which is different from the red core which was shown in an earlier issue of the magazine and the anime show "Puni-Chan."
The entertainment site theorized that this development could mean there might be more than one legendary Zygarde, a give-away which if true, will certainly make followers of the popular anime franchise smile despite the limited news on "Pokemon Z."
In the meantime, Cross Map shared the disappointment of fans who were hoping that a final release date for "Pokemon Z" would be unveiled in the latest issue of "Coro Coro."
Instead, what followers got was a first glimpse of Volcanion, the first fire and water type "Pokemon," which uses fire and water within its body to shoot boiling steam and explosive shock waves from its back.
Volcanion's attack has been described to be strong enough to level a mountain, and is impervious to Bug, Steel, Ice, Fire, and Fairy type attacks, but is weak to Ground, Rock, and Electric types.
"Pokemon" fans will just have to hold on a bit more, as its developers finally decide on a release date for its much-awaited game "Pokemon Z."
