'One Piece Film: Gold' Release Date Slated For July 2016! Teaser Hints At New Mysterious Characters
"One Piece" film series will soon release its latest installment titled "One Piece Film: Gold," with a new mysterious character, according to Yibada.
The new film has been given "The Power to Rule the World" tagline. A new teaser trailer was launched by the official website few days back hinting at the storyline and cast of "One Piece Film: Gold."
The latest 2016 issue of Weekly Shonen Magazine listed out all the details about the new film from the anime series.
Realty Today reported that the upcoming 13th installment of the movie series will be directed by Hiroaki Miyamoto. Eiichiro Oda is the producer as well as the creator of new mysterious character in the film.
Miyamoto has earlier directed few chapters of "One Piece" anime series, but this will be his first ever directorial project on big screen.
The storyline is speculated to be full of adventures and exciting journeys of Gol D. Rog and Monkey D. Luffy, Straw Hat Pirates group leader.
It is also speculated that the plot for the new movie "One Piece: Gold" has been adapted from the earlier movies in the series, titled "One Piece Film: Z" and "Strong World."
The movie is also rumored to be based on the script written by Tsutomu Kuroiwa, action sequence director of "The Perfect Insider," reported Anime News Network.
The latest report from the official website, "One Piece Gold," confirmed that the mysterious character, which was earlier revealed in the teaser would be called "Gildo Tesoro."
The website also reported that Gildo would play a key role as an entertainer in the city where Straw Hats would be visiting soon.
Venture Capital Post reported that the official website has also started the pre-sale of the tickets from Dec. 18, offering a gift package consisting of clear character design file of "Kintaro Luffy."
The film is set to hit the theaters on July 23, 2016.
