IPhone 6C Release Date Announced? Smaller Screen And Metal Chassis Expected!

Apple Inc's next budget friendly Smartphone iphone 6C has been rumored to have the release date sometime in April 2016.

There have been numerous rumours about Apple Inc's new C Generation Smartphone recently. China Mobile's recent presentation has revealed that Apple Inc is planning to launch a new variant in April 2016. This was spotted by Apple Insider and Gadgets Arena. Even though the presentation does not emphasize any model name or details pertaining to it, they found the texts "Apple" and another column entry to be "April". And the unnamed device was thus predicted to refer to the C generation iPhone model since it listed a price tag of $500 (less expensive than the flagship iPhones that normally costs a minimum $650). Thus, it is almost evident that the new iPhone 6C might be launched in April 2015 at a price of $500 (¥3200).

Now coming to the specifications of the rumoured iPhone 6C, It imitates the iPhone 5 in its smaller screen size of 4 inches and might perform as good as the 2014 iPhone 6. This new hyped model would be a low end product that will lack the 3D touch pressure sensing unit of the series but might give a "premium" feel by sporting a metal chassis at a lower budget.

Along with the release date, the four inches iPhone 6C is expected to be coming with a screen resolution of 1136X640 and 2.5D glass protection(similar to the curved one seen on iPhone 6 and iPhone 6S models). It is expected to be equipped with an A9 processor , 2GB of RAM and Apple pay support. Another rumour is that it might have a sapphire display (which was used in apple watches).

The previous C generation was launched simultaneously with the flagship model iPhone 5C. Keeping in mind that Apple Inc usually launches its units in the month of September, a new April month release date would come as a totally new time frame for the company to release a new one, expected to be the iPhone 6C.
