There are now rumors floating around some game websites that the launch of "GTA 6" will be between 2018 to 2020. Rockstar was rumored to be already working on the next iteration of the game series. Game websites have also warned that there are some fans that are making fake trailers due to the hype, according to Blorge.
In addition, the rumored release date was reportedly based on the fact that it took Rockstar five years to create a new installment to the "Grand Theft Auto" series.
And in line with the release date news, there was a rumor that the upcoming game's map has been leaked already in Reddit, according to Parent Herald. The image can be viewed here.
In the leaked photo, viewers can see that the new map is large and has incorporated the other maps from the earlier games. Rockstar did not release an official announcement to confirm this rumor, however.
More details about "GTA 6" claim that the new protagonist for the upcoming game will be female, according to Crossmap. Dan Houser, Co-Founder of Rockstar, has mentioned that the game developer is planning to provide an interesting twist to the title.
However, there are no confirmed reports or official announcements from Rockstar yet, but it was rumored that the female character will be played by Eva Mendes.
It was also rumored that her husband, Ryan Gosling, will be joining as well.
