Winds Of Winter Release Date: 'The Winds of Winter' Reported To Arrive Midseason on ‘Game Of Thrones’ Season 6
Winds Of Winter Release Date: "The Winds of Winter" might finally already have a release date. George R. R. Martin himself had hoped to announce the "Winds of Winter" release date before the April airing of "Game of Thrones" season 6. Nothing official has been issued regarding the release date for "Winds of Winter," George R.R. Martin's latest novel in the epic fantasy series "A Song of Ice and Fire."
"Having 'The Winds of Winter' published before season 6 of 'Thrones' airs next spring has been important to me all along," Martin said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight in April.
"I wish it was out now. Maybe I'm being overly optimistic about how quickly I can finish. But I canceled two convention appearances, I'm turning down a lot more interviews-anything I can do to clear my decks and get this done."
Fans claim a crew member from "Game of Thrones" was spotted holding the manuscript while in production.
George R.R. Martin remains hush about when "The Winds of Winter," the sixth installment in the bestselling saga, will be officially published. There are rumors that Martin may complete the much-anticipated book "Winds of Winter" by Feb. 23, 2016.
George R.R Martin says Winds of Winter will be released sometime in early 2016. Martin revealed that the ending of the next "A Song of Ice and Fire" installment will be bittersweet, but he says don't rush him, there is no way he could write it any faster.
Alejo Cuervo, the editor of Ediciones Gigamesh (the Spanish publisher of George R. R. Martin), told Lossie Tereinos, per IBTimes, also hinted that the release date for "Winds of Winter" would be early 2016.
"The difference between the release dates of the Spanish version and the English version are not expected to be much, as the manuscript will be made available to the Spanish publishers well before the book is out in the market," the article said.
