'Expendables 4' Movie Release Date And Casting News: "The Expendables 4" is a confirmed movie and Sly Stallone is promising more blood and a lot more action. Expendables 4 will be an R-rated movie. The filmmakers are on the verge of beginning the production in 2016.
"The Expendables 4" will maintain its all-action star formula and will be produced on a budget of over $100 million. The budget will exceed "Expendables 2" which is the most expensive film to date with a $92 million budget, Movie News reported.
'The Expendables 4' already has a main villain, Hulk Hogan. The Christian Post reported that Hogan's character in "The Expendables 4" is going to be world's most evil man. Hogan is one of the most iconic wrestlers of all time. He would be the second wrestler to play a villain in "The Expendables" series.
Hogan confessed that he might have some trouble with the stunts but said a good stuntman would be able to solve that problem. Stone Cold Steve Austin was part of the bad guy crew with Eric Roberts in "The Expendables" from 2010. Hogan and Stallone first collaborated during the filming of "Rocky III" back in 1982.
Earlier reports said Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger will introduce new cast members and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson was one of the first out to be named. Most recently, Jason Statham are confirmed to be in 'The Expendables 4'
Pierce Brosnan, former James Bond, has reportedly agreed to be a part in the fourth installment of "The Expendables."
"The Expendables 4" is reportedly being written by Dave Callaham and will be directed by Avi Lerner. Thought "The Expendables 1" and "The Expendables 2," were huge hits, "The Expendables 3" was reported to have been a huge letdown.
Variety reported that the next installment will commence filming next year and will hit the theaters in 2017.
