Adult network Ashley Madison, has recently added a little over 4 million to its 39 million members, as seen on their homepage's rolling count, according to CNN Money.

The website facilitates cheating and the total number of members are growing, revealed Mirror.

A spokesman for Avid Life Media, which is website's parent company, says there is no update to provide on its apparent customer growth. Its last update was on Aug. 31.

The identities of its 32 million members were exposed during a massive security breach this summer and in its last public statement, Avid Life says that the reports of the event were "greatly exaggerated." The list of names that appeared during the hack showed that 95 percent of its members were men.

The company denied this and said that the journalists misread the leaked information. Ashley Madison says the correct ratio of men to women who use the account actively was one and a half to one.

Ashley Madison's future is unclear. Avid life is now faced with approximately a dozen class-action lawsuits, which stemmed from the recent security breach. These are customers of the controversial website, who felt that the company failed to protect their identities. Some of the lawsuits are asking for more than half a billion dollars in damages.

The controversial website had $115 million in sales and made a profit of $55 million last year, as seen on the documents shared by the company with Forbes.

The company has promised its members that they have worked hard to tighten security after the hack. It also claimed that the company's members continued to engage days and weeks after the security breach, cited Jezebel.

Noel Biderman, the ousted CEO of Avid Life and co-founder of Ashley Madison is set for an appearance on Chelsea Handler's "Chelsea Does." The show is an upcoming Netflix documentary slated for release on Jan. 23.
