‘Pokemon’ Tournament On Wii U Is Coming This March; ‘Pokken Tournament’ Bundle Comes To Japan!
"Pokemon" tournament on the Wii U will be coming to the console this coming March, according to Forbes.
"Pokken Tournament" has become a big hit in the Japanese arcades lately and many arcade goers and "Pokemon" fans like the gameplay. Many have been trying to get news about a console release on the Wii U since Nintendo had teased about it in the past. Now it has been confirmed that the game will be coming to the Japanese households soon.
The "Pokemon" tournament will be coming to the Wii U but first it will be launched in Japan. It will be released in the West this coming March 18. The Japanese version of the game will be released by the end of December.
Japan will get the Wii U "Pokken Tournament" bundle pack which was first revealed on the Japanese Nintendo Broadcast a month ago, according to Latin Times. The bundle will have a 32 GB Black Wii U Premium Set, a Shadow MewTwo amiibo card, a digital downloaded version of the "Pokken Tournament" and a special pamphlet of the "Pokemon" Action List. This list will have all of the moves of the Pokemon characters in the game.
It was also reported a while ago that the game will have an exclusive "Pokken Tournament" Wii U controller. It will not be compatible with some games and it will not properly work on other games as well. The controller can be found on Amazon right now and has a price tag of $25.
The "Pokemon" tournament for the Wii U will have eleven main characters available that can be used, according to Yibada. These characters are Machamp, Lucario, Gardevoir, Suicune, Pikachu Libre, Blaziken, Gengar, Weavile, Charizard, Sceptile and Pikachu.
There are also some supporting Pokemon characters that can be used during a battle. These characters are Farfetch'd, Electrode, Emolga, Snivy, Fennekin, Eevee, Frogadier, Lapras, Jirachi, Mismagius, Whimsicott and Ninetales.
