Samsung Galaxy S7 Release Date Confirmed? Details Leaked!
Samsung fans were delighted to preview a leaked design of the Samsung Galaxy S7 smartphone, which was rumored to be released next year around February where it will feature a new touch-sensitive screen, as stated by sources.
The Samsung Galaxy S7's details were leaked via images posted by a case manufacturer, DHGate, with products being offered that featured the flagship smartphone that match similar images from previous leaks, as reported by Forbes.
It was reported that the leaked images of the device's cases pertained to the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Plus, according to Gizmo China.
It was, however, noted that the cases, which costs less than $2 each on wholesale, most likely will not be of the highest quality, as reported by 9 to 5 Google.
The Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be released on the day before the Mobile World Congress, which will be held on February 21, 2016, in Barcelona with sales starting in mid-March, as stated by Computer World.
Moreover, the Samsung Galaxy S7 release may unveil the new high-speed charging port, which uses a USB Type-C port that allows a full day's charge in just less than thirty minutes or faster, that is coming to its flagship smartphones, as stated by the Wall Street Journal.
In addition, the Samsung Galaxy S7 will feature a pressure-sensitive screen, similar to Apple's 3d Touch feature on its iPhone 6S and iPhone 6S Plus, as stated by Fortune.
With the help of a touch-sensitive screen, the flagship smartphone device can differentiate between a tap or a press on its screen and execute specific tasks based on each input method, according to the source.
The company was also reported to have considered adding a retina scanner to some version of its devices, but the feature may be changed as there are only three months left before the Samsung Galaxy S7 will be released, according to the Wall Street Journal.
