Reality television star Kim Kardashian West did not break the iOS App Store, contrary to reports that it did when her emoji app, "Kimoji" was released Monday, according to The Guardian.

The app crashed the store because it had "nine thousand download requests per millisecond" at one point in the day and that the "Apple tech team swooped in and shored it up," claimed TMZ.

The pop culture icon took to Twitter to apologize to her 38.2 million followers.

"There were absolutely no issues with the App Store yesterday," said Apple in a statement to Tech Insider. The company denied claims that their site crashed because of Kim Kardashian West's app.

There is no doubt, however, about "Kimoji's" popularity as it is currently that top paid phone app in the United States and the United Kingdom. It also is in both countries the top 10 grossing apps, making more money than famous mobile games like "Game of War: Fire Age," "Candy Crush," "Candy Crush Saga" and dating app, "Tinder."

"Kimoji" provides 250 emojis, which includes makeup, nails, cartoon faces and buttocks, which are designed to be used in messaging apps such as "Facebook Messenger" and "WhatsApp."

Despite low ratings on the App Store, averaging two and a half stars in the United States and two stars out of five in the United Kingdom, Kardashian West's app is still a success.

Kim Kardashian West already has a mobile game app called "Kim Kardashian: Hollywood," which was launched earlier this year. The game promised shopping and fashion tips, live question and answer time with fans, live streaming videos and personal diaries.

Since its release in June 2014, the mobile game has made more than $113 million, leading its developer Glu Mobile to more celebrity clients like Nicki Minaj, Britney Spears and Katy Perry.
