Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez Release Statement; Steve Harvey To Host Pageant Again?
Miss Colombia 2015, Ariadna Gutierrez released a statement on her Instagram with regards to the unexpected situation happened during the Miss Universe pageant.
On Dec. 20, she was crowned for a brief moment as the winner and after a few moments later, the host revealed that it was a mistakenly announced that the rightful title holder was Miss Philippines Pia Alonzo Wurtzbach.
Many fans have started speculations about the former about her social media posts. Lately, she broke her silence and shared a photo on Instagram along with her message for everyone as she waited for the situation to calm down. In her message, she thanked her supporters from around the world for giving her strength and that she felt "most fortunate" because of them, according to News.com.au.
Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez wrote that along with a photo of her that, "Your destiny is written for you," according to E! News.
"And my destiny was this," she further stated. "I was able to bring happiness to my country after becoming Miss Universe for only a couple of minutes..."
"Today because of that COLOMBIA and the LATIN COMMUNITY are being talked about in every corner of the world," she added.
" I also want to congratulate the Philippines for their new Miss Universe. The happiness that you must be feeling must be incredible," her statement continued.
Miss Colombia 2015 Ariadna Gutierrez will be celebrating her 22nd birthday on Christmas and was reported that she flew to Miami.
A spokesperson of Concurso Nacional de la Belleza de Colombia said that, "She wants to spend a few quiet days with her family over the holidays and unwind, and she plans on addressing the media when she goes back to Colombia," according to People Magazine.
Despite of what happened, the Miss Universe officials allegedly said that Steve Harvey will be the host for next year's pageant.
