Scott Weiland And The Wildabouts In Concert - New York, New York

Art of Anarchy rock supergroup offers their album free to download, according to Ultimate-Guitar.

The rock supergroup is composed of the late Scott Weiland, ex-Guns n' Roses guitarist Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal, Disturbed bassist John Moyer, guitarist Jon Votta and drummer Vince Votta. The group was formed in 2011. Weiland insisted that he was not a member of the band and was just hired as a session musician.

"It was a project I did where I was just supposed to have written the lyrics and melodies for this band that I'd never heard of, and I was paid to do it," explained Weiland in an interview. "And so I did it, and did some production work on it, and the next thing I knew there were press releases that I was in the band.

"I mean, I did one photo shoot with them, 'cause it was part of the deal, but I'm not in the band," he continued. "I wish them all the best once they find a singer, I hope they do well, but Scott Weiland and The Wildabouts is my band."

Last Dec. 3, 2015, Scott Weiland was found dead on his tour bus around 9 p.m.

In light of his death, Art of Anarchy has announced that their album will now be available for free to download, according to Blabbermouth. Fans can download the album here. The members of the rock supergroup explained the decision of making their album free to download in a statement.

"In memory of Scott Weiland, we would like to offer the 'Art of Anarchy' record digitally for free to the world during this holiday season," read the statement. "We hope everyone enjoys listening as much as we enjoyed creating it."

While Art of Anarchy offers their album free to download, Weiland's former Stone Temple Pilots bandmates pay him a musical tribute. The video revisits Weiland's one of the best vocal performances in his lifetime. The video can be viewed below.
