Honda's Senior Product Planner Michael Willrich commented on how the company tried to target other compact cars in the US market, which did not pan out well to the critcs.
"In the past we targeted other compacts in the US market, and the last one didn't do so well with the critics," Willrich stated, courtesy of the Press Herald.
"This time we decided to target European benchmarks. This is a global car. We wanted to raise the style quotient and the fun-to-drive factor," the Senior Product Planner added.
The 2016 Honda Civic boasted a lot of features as the 10th generation of the line, despite the reasonable price tag attached to it.
