‘Divergent Series: Allegiant” Movie To Change Ending? Theo James Tease Movie!
For the "Divergent Series: Allegiant" movie news, Theo James hints at changes in the movie, according to Realty Today.
"Allegiant" is the third installment of the "The Divergent" movie series. This will be second in the last part of the movie series and instead of a part 1 and part 2 "Allegiant" movie, the fourth and final movie will be called "Ascendant." "Allegiant" will be released this coming March 18, 2016 and "Ascendant" will be released on June 9, 2017.
Theo James has revealed that there will not be any big changes in the "Divergent Series: Allegiant" movie this coming 2016 compared to the second installment in the series.
"Not huge ones, no," said James. "We have time to tell the book over two movies so I think if anything, it'll be the material in the book but then added as well; there'll be more stuff because we have more time to tell the story."
The next part will have spoilers.
Veronica Roth, the novel series author, has also confirmed that the novel and the adaptation will see the same ending, according to Ecumenical News. The author knew that there were some ideas already as to how to go about Tris's survival, but not following the book's ending would undermine the story.
Fans have been petitioning to the filmmakers that they would change the ending of the movie series. There has been no response from the filmmakers if they are willing to change the ending.
Shia Woodley supports the decision of Roth.
"I think that it's a beautiful decision that Veronica made," according to Woodley. "I mean, how often is it that somebody you really admire and who does take selfless risks everyday ends up living?"
Woodley has also reported that Tris and Four's relationship in "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" movie is healthy, according to Movie News Guide. She has approved of her character's relationship with Four.
