Fans of the widely acclaimed fighting game, "Street Fighter", were delighted to find out that the beta version of its fifth installment, "Street Fighter V," will be coming to PC along with a Steam controller support as more news and updates were announced, according to sources.

The Japanese video-game developer, "Capcom," has recently announced that the beta version of their fifth installment on the fighting-game series, "Street Fighter V," will get ported to Valve's Steam OS along with a support for its Steam controllers, as stated on their official website.

"Hey everyone, I'm excited to announce that Street Fighter V will be officially supporting Steam OS," Capcom stated on their official webpage. "We are working closely with Valve on this endeavor, and will have more details to announce in the near future, so stay tuned for updates," the company added.

"Street Fighter V will also support the Steam controller, and you'll be able to try that out right away during the upcoming beta test that takes place from December 18 to 20," they further added.

It was reported that fans of the popular fighting-game, "Street Fighter V" beta, will be able to use the Steam controller to throw hadokens with mouse-like accuracy and that it would be interesting to see, as well, how Valve's Steam controller would compete against the more traditional controller and arcade sticks, according to the Hardcore Gamer.

The Japanese-based company, Capcom, has also announced details about the characters that will be released for its fifth installment, "Street Fighter V" beta, which initially started with six selectable fighters such as Ryu, Cammie, Nash, Birdie, Laura and Necalli, as reported by Gematsu.

As "Street Fighter V" beta went live on PS4 and got ported to PC, news revealed that Dhalsim and Zangief will become available later during the testing period of the beta version, and that there may be more updates to come, courtesy of the source.

In addition, news of a five-part live-action mini-series, "Street Fighter: Ressurection," would be released as a tie-in with Capcom's new game title, "Street Fighter V," as was previously reported
