Daniel Craig seemed to appear in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" movie, according to IGN.

Earlier this year, it was the buzz on the internet that Daniel Craig was going to be a part of the "Star Wars" film and he was going to take on a small role. After those rumors emerged, Craig shot down the reports the claimed that he was going to make a cameo in the new "Star Wars" film.

"Why would I ever bother doing something like that?" answered Craig in an interview. "F-ing hell! Pffft. Play an extra in another movie."

It seemed Craig wanted to make a cameo, according to Entertainment Weekly. According to several sources from the site, that is what exactly happened in the film. Daniel Craig made a cameo in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" as a storm trooper.

"He did it for sh-s and grins," said one of the sources.

There are spoilers ahead for those who want to be warned.

Craig allegedly played a role as a First Order soldier, according to The Guardian. He was sent to guard Daisy Ridley, whose role is Rey in the movie. This was a scene on board a starship in the middle part of the film. This part is where Rey realizes for the first time that she has the power of the force. She allegedly hypnotizes the stormtrooper to remove the restraints and leave the cell door open.

"I'll tighten those restraints, scavenger scum," said the stormtrooper who many people believe is Daniel Craig.

Eventually, Rey focuses her Jedi skills and gets the stormtrooper to do her bidding. Some moviegoers who heard the stormtrooper's lines confirmed that it was indeed Daniel Craig. There are still no confirmed reports.

In addition, Simon Pegg, who also has a cameo in the film as a troll-like Jakku, accidentally told an interviewer that he was not a stormtrooper, but it was Daniel Craig in the new "Star Wars" film.
