It already has several sequels launched and all were successful. The game even has a fanbase who speculates on fan theories and tries to connect the stories all together.
The game centers on a fictional pizza restaurant called "Freddy Fazbear's Pizza." The player is a night security guard that watches the pizza parlor at night and must guard himself from malfunctioning animatronic animal characters.
There was a teaser video that was released a while back that suggests that the novel will be released on Dec. 22 but Scott Cawthon decided that the novel will be released earlier. Fans can purchase the novel for $3 on Amazon right now, according to Eurogamer.net.
The novel has 464 pages and is a spin-off of the popular horror game series. "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes" is co-authored with Kira Breed-Wrisley. The spin-off focuses on a woman named Charlie. Her father owned "Freedy Fazbear's Pizza." The novel is set 10 years after the incident that happened in the area. Charlie returns to her hometown to investigate the pizza place with a couple of friends in tow.
Cawthon has mentioned that the novel has been in the works for nearly a year now, according to Design& Trend. The novel is intended to "expand the mythos" of the main story which made it popular with many fans. Some sites recommend reading the book to know more of the story because it might have answers there.
The "Five Nights at Freddy's: The Silver Eyes" novel is now available in paperback and in Kindle format. A hardcover version is expected next year.
