"Halo 5's" Forge Mode will come with the new free update release just recently, according to Gamespot.
A month ago, "Halo 5: Guardians" got a free update which adds a free big team battle. The update was called "The Battle of Shadow and Light." This team battle lets two teams of eight players battle it out for victory. The new update also contained new maps and some new items as well.
Today, 343 Industries is releasing a Christmas gift of sorts to the players. The game developer has released "The Cartographer's Gift" which is the next free update for the Xbox One game. The update contained the Forge Mode, more maps for the Arena and Warzone, new assassinations and more, according to IGN.
With "Halo 5's" Forge Mode release, players can now try out the level editor for their own custom maps, according to VG247. The Forge Mode includes item grouping, multi-select and edit, over 1,700 objects, light objects, light fixtures and customizable colors. This level editor is completely rebuilt for "Halo 5: Guardians."

The four new maps added are The Battle of Noctus, Overgrowth, Antifreeze and Entombed. There are also new free weapons which include the returning favorites like the M41 "SPNKr" rocket launcher.

This free update follows the first one last month, which was the "Battle of Shadow and Light." There will be a new free update this coming January, next year. The new update next year will include eagle weapon skins and many more.
In addition, 343 Industries has also promised that they will still continue to release new content for the game until June 2016. Even now, the game developer is handing out daily rewards just for playing the game.
