Lakers' Kobe Bryant Not Retiring Anymore? Rumors Surface After Successful Game Against Bucks!
Fans of the soon-to-retire basketball superstar, Kobe Bryant, were elated to see him put up a better performance during the Los Angeles Lakers' game against the Milwaukee Bucks, as stated by sources.
Over the last five games, the retiring 37-year old Kobe Bryant has averaged 18.2 points, 4.2 assists, and 5.0 rebounds, with 46.6% shooting from the field, according to the LA Times.
That's quite a jump in performance when compared to his initial 17 games for this season, wherein it seemed that the retiring Laker has thrown up air-balls on a nightly basis with a 29.7% shooting average, as stated by the source.
"I feel good," Bryant said, courtesy OC Register. "I'm moving well. I'm not sore after game, anything like that. From the challenge of where I started at the beginning of the season to where I am now, I feel good," he added.
However, the NBA superstar Bryant has not changed his mind about his retirement, despite the recent upswing in his performance, as reported by Fox Sports.
"No," the superstar said after being asked if he'd consider staying after the season, courtesy of the source. "Honestly, no," he added.
Amidst his retirement, Kobe Bryant scored 22 points leading the Los Angeles Lakers over the Milwaukee Bucks, 113-95.
As such, Head Coach of the Milwaukee Bucks, Jason Kidd, was not pleased when TMZ Sports posted a video that showed four of the Bucks' players, OJ Mayo, Greg Monroe, Khris Middleton, and Miles Plumlee, hitting the streets and partying in Los Angeles on Monday night until around 2 a.m., according to Bleacher Report.
Moreover, the Milwaukee Bucks recently lost to the Los Angeles Clippers, 103-90, with Clippers point guard Chris Paul scoring 21 points and eight assists, as stated by JS Online.
In addition to the string of losses since the Bucks ended the Golden State Warriors' winning streak, the team is now dealing with another injury as their free agent acquisition, Greg Monroe, was sidelined due to an MCL sprain in his right knee, as reported by CBS Sports.
