GOP Presidential Candidates Debate In Las Vegas

Supporters and protestors of the Manhattan multi-billionaire and leading Republican presidential candidate, scuffled about Donald Trump's 2016 campaign breaking into the 40 percent of the voting poll despite his recent announcement to ban all Muslims from entering the US, as stated by sources.

Based on the recent poll conducted by Monmouth University, the surveyed voters, identifying themselves as Republican or independents leaning toward the GOP, earned Donald Trump's 2016 campaign 41 percent, which nearly tripled the support of his closest rival, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz, at 14 percent, as reported by the Politico.

"Looks like we just broke another polling ceiling," Trump wrote to his supporters via Facebook, courtesy of the source.

"While the establishment schemes to nominate someone they control - the voters are clearly indicating that they want someone who will fix the broken political system in DC. Thank you for your support! We will #MakeAmericaGreatAgain," he further wrote.

On the 26th week of the Donald Trump 2016 campaign and at the wake of the Paris attack and San Bernardino shooting, the presidential candidate took his plan of tightening the country's borders by calling for "a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States," as stated by USA Today.

"Until we are able to determine and understand this problem and the dangerous threat it poses, our country cannot be the victims of horrendous attacks by people that believe in Jihad, and have no sense of reason nor respect for human life," Trump said in his statement, which was given a 24-second standing ovation by the crowd aboard the USS Yorktown in Mount Pleasant, S.C., courtesy of the source.

As such, this drew a lot of attention to both Trump's supporters and his protestors. Nobel Prize winner, Malala Yousafzai, condemned Donald Trump's 2016 campaign proposal to ban Muslims from entering the US, as reported by BBC.

She noted that Trump's comments were "full of hatred" and that blaming Muslims for terrorism would only "radicalize more terrorists," as stated by the source.

In recent news, legal scholars have also contemplated about Donald Trump's proposal to ban Muslims from entry into the nation by stating that although such policy would violate constitutional guarantees of "due process of law" and "equal protection", immigration law is different and that it could actually pass legal muster, according to the LA Times.

During his rally at Las Vegas, numerous protestors tried to interrupt Donald Trump's 2016 campaign but were to no avail, as they were escorted out while reports indicated of his supporters simultaneously yelling to them, "Shoot him!" "He's a Muslim guy!" and "Light the mother-----r on fire!" as stated by NBC News.

Despite all of this, Trump remains to have supports such as Joe Theismann, who recently praised him during his Tuesday appearance on Fox News Channel's "Outnumbered", as reported by the Washington Post; and of NFL quarterback Tom Brady who said that he'd prefer not to get into politics, but he will stand by his friendship with Trump, according to Pro Football Talk
