‘Diablo 3’ Patch 2.4.0 Unlocks Greyhollow Island; Preview Video Released!
The new "Diablo 3" patch 2.4.0 will unlock a whole new zone called Greyhollow Island, according to PC Gamer.
"Diablo 3" is an action role-playing video game. It was developed and published by Blizzard Entertainment. This game is the third installment of the "Diablo" game franchise. It was first released on May 15, 2012. It was launched on the PC. Later it had a console version for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Sept. 3, 2013. The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One version were launched on Aug. 19, 2014. An expansion pack was also released with a title "Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls."
The new patch is speculated to roll out just before the end of the year, according to sources. The new "Diablo 3" patch 2.4.0 will also unlock a new zone for Adventure Mode which is called Greyhollow Island. Blizzard has released a preview video of the zone itself and it can be viewed below.
The video shows the different areas players can explore and the enemies they can encounter, according to VG247. Blizzard stated that the forest will have many secrets which are waiting to be discovered by the players. The place is said to be a cursed land.
In addition, the new area will have a small amount of humanoid NPCs. This will make the players feel isolated in this area.
"Greyhollow Island is about being alone in the woods at night," said senior designer Joe Shely. "It's an untamed island filled with natural and supernatural dangers."
The enemies that players will have to face in the new area will have names like Primeval Hunter and Glowing Death, according to PC Games N. Some of the flying enemies will be called the Hive Mother and Silverback.
In addition, the "Diablo 3" patch 2.4.0 was tested in the public test realm last November. Blizzard Entertainment has still not disclosed the specific release date of the patch. The patch will have new events, 16 new monsters and set dungeons.
