‘Rick And Morty’ Season 3 Update: New Writers Announced; Teasers Released!
For the "Rick and Morty" season 3 update, the season creator has hired new writers for the story, according to Youth Health Mag.
"Ricky and Morty" is an American adult animated TV series. It was created by Justin Roiland and Dan Harmon for Adult Swim. The series started out on Dec. 2, 2013 and it was renewed for a second season on July 26, 2015.
This follows the story of Rick, who is an alcoholic scientist and his grandson Morty. Both spend their time with domestic family life and interdimensional travel.
Today, it was hinted at the recent "Rick and Morty" season 3 update that the new season will fix all of the problems in the show's second season.
"I don't think anybody wants to do a third season that simply spends a whole bunch of episodes dealing with a situation that we created at the end of the second season," answered Harmon in an interview. "So, I think that's a non-spoiler way of saying things should be okay pretty quickly."
The creator also said that they have hired new writers to have gender balance in the studio.
It was reported that the new plot of the "Rick and Morty" season 3 will not be talking more about time travelling, according to iSchoolGuide. The show creators decided that they should remove it from the storyline. The creators explained that time travel stories are difficult and complicated works to finish.
"Time travel is a real shark-jumper," said Harmon. "Once you introduce it to the canon of your show, it's just a dangerous toy to pull out."
Some fans are already guessing that the last season's finale had something to do with the new storyline in season 3, according to Christian Today. There is a special "improvised" episode of the series, which features the creators in Cinefamily, Los Angeles on Dec. 11.
So for fans who want more "Rick and Morty" season 3 updates, then they can join the Q&A portion in the event. It features the creators and the Smiths, Beth and Jerry, which are voiced by Sarah Chalke and Chris Parnell.
