Eva Longoria And Jose Baston Now Engaged; Details Revealed!
Actress Eva Longoria is engaged to Latin America's media mogul, Jose Antonio Baston, according to TMZ.
The couple has been dating for two years and Baston popped the question over the weekend. The proposal took place in Dubai and the pair was photographed kissing in the desert.
"Ummmm so this happened. #Engaged #Dubai #Happiness," wrote Longoria on Instagram.
The 40-year old actress could be seen wearing a ring that consists of a large ruby set on an eternity band, surrounded by a diamond halo, revealed E.
The couple was welcomed in the desert with a display of couches, red rugs and an aisle decorated with rose petals, as seen in the actress' SnapChat. The two drank champagne while music played and danced into the night to celebrate their engagement.
"I'm attracted to humor and intellect in a man," said Longoria in an interview with a magazine in 2014. "Let me tell you, I'm very lucky in my life."
They also spent the weekend hanging out with friends, which includes "Empire's" Terrence Howard. The two went shopping as well and toured Dubai. The pair started dating in 2013.
They were seen together for the first time in Mexico City, at the Museo Jumex Opening dinner, shared Us Weekly.
Eva Longoria and Jose Baston travelled to Dubai to attend the Global Gift Gala, held at the 2015 Dubai International Film Festival.
Baston is the president of content and television at Grupo Televisa. This company is the world's largest Spanish-speaking media company.
In September, Ana Ortiz (who is Longoria's friend) gave her stamp of approval.
"They're a gorgeous couple, and I've never seen her happier," said the Devious Maids star in an interview with People. "I am so thrilled that she has someone who is not intimidated by her and who is not afraid by her power, her beauty, her friendship and her drive."
This will mark Longoria's third marriage. Her first husband was Tyler Christopher and they were together from 2002 to 2004. Her second marriage was to NBA star, Tony Parker which started in 2007 and ended in 2011.
