"Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" update has finally adjusted the new gun, which was introduced from the last update, according to Gamespot.

"Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" or "CS: GO" is a first-person shooter video game. This game is a part of the "Counter-Strike" game franchise. It was developed by Valve Corporation with the collaboration of Hidden Path Entertainment. It was announced on Aug. 12, 2011. It was released on Aug. 21, 2012 and was launched on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and the PC.

Valve has now released a new update for the game to reduce the issues of the new gun that was introduced in an update before this one, the R8 Revolver. The weapon in question was introduced last Dec. 8 and was a part of the Winter Update. Some players discovered that it had high accuracy and it was capable of killing enemies in one shot. That started other players angry with this overpowered gun.

Some "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" contests were changed right away and their staff quickly reacted to this new update, according to PC Games N. Some will be using the older version of the game in their tournament to be fair.

The new "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" update was released right away in response to the many complaints from the "Counter-Strike" community, according to Polygon. A new blog post was posted by Valve and they admit it was a mistake of releasing the R8 Revolver in its overpowered state.

"While it typically takes more time to generate enough data to drive an update (and gameplay updates are always a bit disruptive), in this case it's clear that we got the damage wrong and can respond immediately," stated the blog post from Valve.

The new "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive" update is going to nerf the new gun. The R8 Revolver will now have lower damage and will have more time it takes to fire. Valve will be monitoring the situation and they will adjust the values when needed.
