"Fable Legends" promised release date might not be happening, according Game Informer.

"Fable Legends" is an action role-playing video game. It is cooperative and planned to be free-to-play. This game is developed by Lionhead Studios and published by Microsoft Studios. It is going to be launched on the PC and the Xbox One. This is the latest iteration of the "Fable" game franchise.

The game was supposed to be scheduled for the big fall lineup, but it seems it is nowhere to be seen. The game sites report that there was no announcement of the open beta. It was also slated for the big winter line-up which is part of the 2015's big pre-Christmas release, but there are no announcements from the developers or the publishers, according to Xbox Achievements.

In addition, it seems Microsoft is trying to "expand" its "Fable Legends" closed beta. Game sites speculate that the free-to-play 4v1 asymmetrical multiplayer game will not be appearing for its platforms this time around.

"As a service-based title in closed beta, we're always working to make sure that when we open 'Fable Legends' to everyone, that it's a great gameplay experience," said a Microsoft representative in an interview. "We are continuing to expand our closed beta and will have more details to share in the coming weeks, so stay tuned!"

Last time, Aaron Greenberg, Microsoft Marketing Executive, explained to Gamespot that "Fable Legends'" release date will not be announced until it is ready. Until then, it will remain in closed beta.

"We'll move those titles into full, open beta when they're ready," Greenberg said. "But we don't want to rush that until they're ready. So, at this point, we're staying in closed beta and we'll share more news when we're ready to."

For now, there will be no further details on "Fable Legends'" release date. The game developers have high expectations for the game and predict it will have up to a 10-year lifespan. They think it will stay interesting for the players by having a lot of DLC.
