The "Fallout 4" update version 1.2 has finally arrived on consoles, according to Gamespot.

The first update for the game arrived earlier last time for the PC platform. It fixed different bugs that were giving issues to PC owners. It has also optimized a certain visual downgrade for some sections of the game to make it run better. Certain sections of the game made the frame rate drop low so it needed to be balanced to make it work. The new update changed all that.

Recently, the new "Fallout 4" update version 1.2 has arrived on the consoles as well. The PlayStation 4 got the upgrade first and then was followed by the Xbox One. Console owners will be prompted to download and install the update the next time they will play the game.

The 1.2 patch fixes different bugs for the consoles, according to Polygon. Some of the fixes that were mentioned for the consoles and the PC are general memory and stability improvements, performance improvements in the Corvega Assembly Plant, optimizations to skinned decal rendering, fixed issue with players becoming stuck in terminals and many others.

The patch for the PC also introduced new features to the game, according to PC Gamer. The new features added were number pad keys can now be used for remapping and remapping Activate now works on Quick Container. It also fixed a specific issue of the Launcher, which would not save God Rays Quality setting properly.

In addition, the new "Fallout 4" update also gave out a problem for PC owners who have mods for the game. It disabled the mods on startup and the .INI edit that previously got around this limitation is not working anymore. There is a workaround for this problem, but it is not as convenient as the mod added before the update. Game sites are reaching out to Bethesda to know what is going on so no details as of now.
