After 23 long years, Keith Richards releases his 15-track LP, "Crosseyed Heart." This has been Keith's first solo album since his 1992' "Main Offender", as reported by Rollingstones.

The first taste of the album was unveiled with the lead single, "Trouble," heavily supported by old friends, drummer Steve Jordan, guitarist Waddy Wachtel and Bernard Fowler on backup vocals, according to sources.

"I had a ball making this new record and working with Steve Jordan and Waddy Wachtel again," said Richards. "There's nothing like walking into a studio and having absolutely no idea what you're going to come out with on the other end. If you're looking for 'Trouble,' you've come to the right place."

The 71-year-old rocker wrote or co-wrote, along with co-producer Steve Jordan, majority of the songs listed on "Crosseyed Heart."

Equally notable is Netflix's documentary film "Keith Richards: Under the Influence" by Academy Award-winning filmmaker/director Morgan Neville, which was screened at the Toronto Film Festival. Neville is best known for directing other critically acclaimed films such as "20 Feet From Stardom" and "Best of Enemies."

The film follows the Rolling Stones guitar player as he records "Crosseyed Heart," his first solo album in 23 years, as reported by The Guardian.

Keith said "I didn't even know that I was going to make a record at that time," based on reports by Billboard.

"We were just feeling our way through and I think 'Under The Influence' grew organically along with the record," the musician stated. "I was still just feeling my way with my great friend (producer, drummer, and co-writer) Steve Jordan and several other great friends."

The Oscar-winning director mentioned "Under the Influence" was most definitely not supposed to be a documentary film, according to a report byHuffingtonpost.

"I came up with this idea that I'd show up at his house with a pile of vinyl and a turntable, and that we would just talk about all of these different influences in his life," the director stated. "He came in and immediately started going through the records."

"It was George Jones, Lightning Hopkins, Johnny Cash, Loretta Lynn, and The Flying Burrito Brothers," the director further stated. "He started playing songs and we had this amazing three hour interview."

"That was great," he stated. "Keith had a great time. We should keep filming."

However, he reiterated that they are "not going to make a documentary."

"So it was just one those things where we kept going," he concluded. "The edit was going so well that it somehow became a feature length."
