‘Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom’ Trailer Revealed; New Cast Announced!
"Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" trailer has been revealed during a recent event, according to Destructoid.
This game is a sequel to the popular PlayStation 3 game "Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch" which was first launched in Japan. It was first released on Nov. 17, 2011. Then it reached to the western shores two years later.
"Ni no Kuni" is a classic JRPG game with the animated sequences developed by Studio Ghibli. The original score of the game was co-composed by Joe Hisaishi. Players control a young boy who sets out on a journey to save her mother.
The sequel of the first game has now been announced recently during the PSX event. Namco Bandai, the game publisher, was the one who presented and announced the game and its trailer. The video can be viewed below.
"Ni no Kuni II" trailer shows that the game will have a new gameplay design, but the basics of the first game will still be retained, according to sources. It will also have an "emotional storyline," just like the original game, "Wrath of the White Witch."
The game will feature a new cast of characters which will replace the old cast, according to Gamespot. It will follow the story of Evan, a boy king who is forced to go on an adventure after it was overthrown by enemies. Evan is joined by other characters and one of them is Roland. Roland is a visitor from another world. The group will find a way to liberate Evan's kingdom and make him a better king as he learns to become one.
"Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom" is developed by Level-5 in collaboration with Japanese animation company Studio Ghibli, according to Polygon. It will be published by Bandai Namco. The game still has no release date, but it will be a PS4 exclusive. Fans are excited for the sequel and are waiting for new developments.
