A global star in the adult entertainment industry, 29-year old James Deen has been publicly accused of sexual assault by initially three female co-stars, Ashley Fire, Stoya and Tori Lux, according to The Guardian.

With boy-next-door looks, James Deen real name Bryan Sevilla has been called the Tom Cruise of porn and for almost ten years, he has been an ambassador for the said industry.

The porn star was an advocate for the adult entertainment industry, supported breast cancer charities, appealed to young women and was even called a feminist.

"He's accessible and represents the democratization of our culture," said writer Bret Easton Ellis in 2012. "He's not some hot-blooded, super-tanned caveman pumping it - he's a cute boy you could have gone to college with."

This was Ellis' explanation as to why he cast Deen in a mainstream film, "The Canyons."

The actor absolutely denied the allegations but social media erupted and the public demanded a prosecution. Overnight, the actor who has won multiple "porn Oscars," became an outsider and his career began taking hits.

Adult company, Kink.com "ceased all ties with James Deen, both as a performer and a producer."

Due to the allegations and conflict between other members, the Adult Performer Advocacy Committee confirmed that James has resigned as chairman of its board.

"The APAC Board wants to state unequivocally that we stand with performers and other sex workers who are victims of any sort of sexual assault," the group said in a statement.

"The Frisky," an entertainment and lifestyle site for women, has also decided to drop Deen's sex advice column as well. The company said it will not wait for proof and that it "believed women."

29-year old Stoya, a writer and porn performer who used to date "Deen," took to Twitter, Saturday.

"Deen" denied any wrongdoing in a series of tweets, Sunday.

After Stoya's accusation, more women have come forward with their own stories, revealed The Cut.

Kora Peters and Amber Rayne, both adult performers stepped forward Wednesday, which brought a total of five public accusers.

Both women said they did not come forward before because of the negative perceptions of porn and also for fear that they would not be believed, since "Deen" was revered in the industry.

Later that day, in an interview with Jason Ellis on the SiriusXM show, Joanna Angel revealed that she suffered years of sexual and physical abuse by "Deen" during their 2005 to 2011 relationship.

Amidst all the sexual assault allegations, no charges have been filed against James Deen, reported MSNBC.
