Lee Ki Woo To Star In An Upcoming Crime Thriller
Korean actor Lee Ki Woo will be back on the big screen soon as its agency NEVER DIE Entertainment announced that he will star in an upcoming crime thriller, Exposure. As of press time, no premiere date has been announced so far.
In a report, it is revealed that Exposure centers on a story of two childhood friends who reunited for the first time in two decades as a murderer and a police officer. It was unveiled previously that Choi Hee Seo, Kim Min Ha, and Park Sung Joon will also be part of this film.
This is a big comeback for Lee Ki Woo as it he hasn't been on film projects for several years. His last film, Time Renegades premiered in April 2016. He is currently receiving praise from fans for playing Jo Tae Hoon in the JTBC K-drama My Liberation Notes. The show concluded in May of this year. He is also the lead in Miracle Brother, a new JTBC K-drama series.
Lee Ki Woo was married last month which delighted his fans not only in Korea, but also around the world.
Born on October 23, Lee Ki-Woo is notable for his roles in The Classic (2003), Tale of Cinema (2005), A Love to Kill (2005), Flower Boy Ramyun Shop (2011), Rain of Shine (2017 to 2018) and currently My Liberation Notes (2022.)
The announcement of his marriage was done by his agency and the wedding ceremony was held in Jeju Island. Lee is married to a non-celebrity which at this time was not identified. Their wedding was only attended by close family members and friends.
My Liberation Notes is a slice-of-life Korean drama series that stars Lee Min-Ki, Kim Ji-won, Son Seok-koo, and Lee El. The show is on network JTBC from April 9 to May 29, 2022. The show is also available for streaming in selected regions on Netflix.
