Microsoft Powerapps Features Revealed; Targets Non-Programmers And Companies!
Microsoft recently launched a customizable programming system called PowerApps, and also revealed its features.
PowerApps was announced in Barcelona during the annual Convergence EMEA conference. PowerApps is made for Dynamics CRM 2016 and Office 365, which allows employees to create their own app for business flow. The system has a voice system feature which can be found in Skype to conduct meetings and employee to customer interaction feature for Dynamics CRM 2016, according to Business Cloud News.
Microsoft's corporate Vice President, Bill Staples said, "While companies are increasingly turning to SaaS solutions for specific scenarios like CRM, travel and HR, using services like Microsoft Dynamics, Concur or Workday, most business app scenarios still remain locked on premises, dependent on corporate connected PCs," according to Tech Crunch.
Staples thinks that Microsoft PowerApps' features will help employees to organize work needs and environment easier since they use their mobile more than desktops. There are only few companies that have developed a system like PowerApps that is capable to access work data in just a tap which business companies need in this generation.
Microsoft PowerApps features include an "enterprise service for innovators everywhere to connect, create and share business apps," according to Staples, The Register wrote.
Microsoft's new app will let employees who doesn't have advance programming skills to create their own useful apps to keep up with business demands. PowerApps doesn't need any programming codes even though creating an app will start from scratch, according to Business Insider.
PowerApps can take data from Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, Dropbox, SAP and Oracle. The app creating program has features similar to a Microsoft's Powerpoint and drag and drop functionality that comes with built-in templates and sample apps for reference and can run on any devices.
Microsoft PowerApp features also include an "intelligent product recommendations" mode for sales persons to customize their up-selling.
It is accessible through PowerApps app available for iOS, Windows Phone, Android and on the Web and can be shared to co-workers using a link. It also includes an Azure App Service, a platform for mobile and web developers.
Microsoft hasn't release any information with regards to the system's price but has plans to charge business companies per individual so that they can monitor their bill according to its growth without worrying.
