EXO-Ls Worried As SM Entertainment Removes Lay From EXO’s Line-up On Official Website
Was this a simple mistake from SM Entertainment? Some eagle-eyed EXO-Ls have noticed that Lay was temporarily removed from EXO's line-up.

Just recently, Chinese netizens noticed something fishy regarding Lay. The Chinese idol was notably removed from EXO's line-up on the official SM Entertainment website. The abrupt and random removal has made EXO-Ls wonder if Lay has gone on to part ways with EXO.
Furthermore, Zhang Yixing's removal from EXO's line-up swiftly started to go viral on the entertainment board on Weibo. Notably, Weibo is the most popular social media site in China.
Adding to this, the situation started a large amount of backlash against EXO's label SM Entertainment. Among the heated topics were the comparisons to Girls' Generation's Seohyun, Sooyoung, and Tiffany's exodus from SM Entertainment.

Though no longer signed under SM Entertainment, Seohyun, Sooyoung, and Tiffany are still listed as members of Girls' Generation on the official SM Entertainment website. This made netizens worry more regarding Lay's situation with EXO.
As of writing this article, SM Entertainment has not released a statement on the change in the EXO line-up on the website. But the label has gone on to add Lay once again to EXO's line-up on the SM Entertainment website.
This could mean that it was a simple mistake on SM Entertainment's end. Though fans are confused as to why the label has not made an official announcement on the matter. Regardless, it seems like Lay is still a member of EXO, at least for the meantime.
