Former Wanna One’s Park Jihoon Is Confirmed To Star In The Webtoon-based K-Drama ‘Weak Hero’
Former Wanna One member Park Jihoon has been cast to take on the main role for the upcoming first season of the Wave original series "Weark Hero."
Park Jihoon's agency, Maroo Entertainment confirmed the reports announcing the singer-actor's newest project. The former Wanna One member is also set to star in the drama's second season.

Based on a popular webtoon of the same name, "Weak Hero Season 1" will be directed by Yoo Soo Min. "Weak Hero" will show the story of a model student who looks weak but fights against numerous violence both inside and outside the school.

Park Jihoon's upcoming drama will be part of the wave original series lineup and will reportedly premiere in the second half of 2022. Production for "Weak Hero Season 1" will begin filming soon.

"Weak Hero Season 1" is drawing attention, especially from fans of the original webtoon.
In the drama, Park Jihoon takes on the role of Yeon Shi Eun, who will fight against violence using his intelligence and skills. It will also be Park Ji Hoon's first time to act in an action-school drama.
The upcoming wave original series will be Park Jihoon's first project for this year.
Previously, Park Jihoon starred in the 2019 JTBC drama "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency." The former Wanna One member also starred in the 2020 Kakao TV web drama "Love Revolution," as well as in KBS's "At a Distance, Spring Is Green."
