After School's Nana To Join Jang Dong Yoon In New K-drama ‘My Man Is Cupid’
After School's Nana is reportedly in talks to join actor Jang Dong Yoon in the upcoming K-drama "My Man Is Cupid."
Pledis Entertainment confirmed the reports and shared that After School's Nana is positively reviewing the offer to star in the drama "My Man Is Cupid."
Accordingly, actor Jang Dong Yoon is also reported to be considering the offer to star in the upcoming drama alongside After School's Nana.
The upcoming K-drama "My Man Is Cupid" is a romantic-comedy drama that will revolve around the story of a fairy who had no interest in women. One day, the fairy shoots himself with his own arrow and falls in love with the woman who has lost her soulmate.
Actor Jang Dong Yoon is offered to take on the role of the fairy Cheon Song Hyuk, while After School's Nana is in talks to play the role of Oh Baek Ryeon. Nana's character, Oh Baek Ryeon, is a veterinary doctor at an animal hospital.
"My Man Is Cupid" will be directed by Heo Sung Hee and is scheduled to air in 2022. The drama will begin production early next year.
After her successful stint as a member of After School, Nana is currently active as an actress. Since his acting debut in 2015, After School's Nana has starred in numerous dramas such as "Kill It," "The Good Wife," "Genesis," and "Into the Ring," to name a few.
Earlier this year, Nana starred in the MBC drama "Oh My Ladylord" alongside Lee Min Ki and CNBLUE's Kang Min Hyuk.

Meanwhile, Nana is confirmed to appear in the upcoming dramas "Glitch" and "Mask Girl." The After School member is also set to make her big-screen comeback with her first main role for the movie "Confession." Nana will be starring alongside So Ji Sub, Kim Yoon Jin, and Choi Kwang Il for her upcoming movie that is expected to premiere next year.
