The girl group begins by saying, "Dive into IVE!" and their greeting also had a hand gesture where each IVE member holds their middle fingers sideways to make the 'E' in IVE. When IVE officially debuted on the 1st of December, the girl group once again showed off their introduction at their debut showcase.
Notably, fans and netizens were quick to talk about their excitement regarding IVE's introduction alongside their future. For IVE, it truly made their debut iconic as the girl group's career was already on a hot start.
But not all were thrilled, as some netizens noted that IVE's hand gesture seemed quite familiar. Particularly, some fans shared that the hand gesture was very similar to the one used by Yuehua Entertainment's K-pop girl group EVERGLOW.
