‘Goblin’ Star Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi To Lead tvN's New Drama ‘Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong’
Actors Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi meet in tvN's new drama "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong."
A drama insider revealed on the 22nd of November that the two rising stars have been chosen to lead the upcoming tvN drama. It was also revealed that the filming for "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" is scheduled to commence in January 2022.
"Kim Min Jae and Kim Hyang Gi have decided to appear in 'Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong' as their next work and will start filming in January next year," a drama insider stated.
"Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" is based on the novel of the same, which won the Excellence Award at the 2016 Korea Story Contest.
The upcoming tvN K-drama will tell the story of Shim Yi, a doctor who can make anyone comfortable even in a crazy world. "Joseon Psychiatrist Yoo Se Poong" is set in the Joseon era, making it very interesting.
Kim Min Jae takes on the mini-series title. He plays the role of Yoo Se Poong, who suffers from mental trauma if he picks up a needle, which is favored by the royal family.
Meanwhile, Kim Hyang Gi takes on the role of Seo Eun Woo escapes from her dreadful everyday life by becoming a psychologist.
Recently, Kim Min Jae made fans' hearts flutter through his role in the KBS 2TV's Wednesday-Thursday drama "Dali and the Cocky Prince." Aside from this, the 25-year-old actor has also appeared in a variety of dramas, including "Hit the Top," "Tempted," "Flower Crew: Joseon Marriage Agency," and "Do You Like Brahms."
On the other hand, Kim Hyang Gi is also set to star in an upcoming 2022 JTBC drama entitled "Flying Butterflies." Kim Hyang Gi landed her first lead role in 2013 for the drama "The Queen's Classroom." Since then, the 21-year-old rising actress has appeared in dramas such as "Sweet Revenge" and "Moment at Eighteen."
