Context
The Goyang shows mark a structural first for Seventeen's unit concert history: standing format, replacing the seated arrangements used for previous unit showcases. The album "V8" sold over 500,000 copies in its first three days, debuting at No. 1 on QQ Music in China and charting in nine countries on iTunes. Vernon's mandatory military enlistment is expected later this year, making these the last confirmed solo concerts before his service.
A V8 pop-up store opens July 4 at HYBE's Yongsan headquarters in Seoul and runs through July 9, featuring props from the "singasong" music video and collaboration items with fashion designer Kazuki Kuraishi.
