2nd Member Online: Starship Entertainment Introduces IVE’s 2nd Member, Gaeul!
The 1st of November was an eventful day for Starship Entertainment as the agency announced the official social media accounts of IVE, their new girl group. Adding to this, the label also revealed a logo animation for IVE.
Officially, IVE will be Starship Entertainment's first K-pop group in a long time since debuting CRAVITY in April of 2020 and their first K-pop girl group since WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls) in February of 2016.
Rumors sparked up that the girl group will have amazing visuals and are immensely talented both in vocals and in dancing. Former members of IZ*ONE, Jang Wonyoung and Ahn Yujin, are supposedly making their debut with IVE.
Adding to the rumors is Lami, a former SM Entertainment trainee, will get to debut with the former IZ*ONE members.
At the time of the confirmation of IVE, Starship Entertainment has not confirmed if whether or not former IZ*ONE members Jang Wonyoung and An Yujin will be part of IVE's lineup. But just recently, one-half of the rumors have been confirmed.
To the delight of netizens and fans, former IZ*ONE member An Yujin is the first member confirmed to be in IVE, Starship Entertainment's highly-anticipated girl group!
On the 2nd of November, Starship Entertainment's IVE confirmed An Yujin as the girl group's first member by uploading her official profile photos on both their new social media accounts on Twitter and Instagram.
Just recently, a second member, under the name Gaeul (Kim Ga-eul), has been confirmed for Starship Entertainment's IVE and fans are impressed by her visuals as the agency also uploaded her photos on IVE's official social media accounts.
Fans are delighted to find out that Gaeul is a rapper and is expected to either be a main or lead rapper for IVE!
