Daniel Craig recently revealed in an interview that he usually frequents gay bars rather than the normal hetero bars for reasons you would not imagine. During a sit-down with his good friend, Bruce Bozzi, Craig shared why he usually goes to gay bars rather than straight ones.

The 'No Time To Die' actor was a guest on Bozzi's SiriusXM 'Lunch With Bruce' podcast where he shared stories about his past and that time where they made the news for hugging in front of a gay bar.

Who would have thought that the ultimate macho man Daniel Craig, who by the way plays James Bond, visits gay bars? According to the actor, he has more respect for gay bars than straight bars. Basically, he chooses these type of bars for the safety it offers.

One thing he pointed out is that in hetero bars there is always someone bound to be an aggressive straight patron. He says that since a very long time ago, he has already been frequenting gay bars. Craig had no issues being straight and loving the ambiance of a gay bar.

"One of the reasons [is] because I don't get into fights in gay bars that often. Because the aggressive d--- swinging in hetero bars, I just got very sick of it as a kid because it's like I don't want to end up being in a punch-up. And I did. That would happen quite a lot," Craig explained.

The 'Knives Out' actor also reveals that it is a good place to go and that everyone is chill. He also told the story of Bozzi and him visiting a gay bar in Venice, California back in 2010. The two made headlines after they were photographed drunk and hugging outside the gay bar by tabloid National Enquirer.

Both Bozzi and Craigh laughed as they recounted their experience. Craig is married to 'Black Widow' actress Rachel Weisz since 2011.
