Labelmates BamBam And Dara Are The Official MCs For ‘2021 Asia Song Festival’
Various Korean media outlets have confirmed that ABYSS Entertainment artists BamBam and Dara are the official hosts for this year's "Asia Song Festival."
The event will take place in Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do. Fans will be able to stream the live event online via the official website of the "Asia Song Festival," their official YouTube Channel, SBS Medianet YouTube Channel "THE K-POP," and Naver V Live.
The "2021 Asia Song Festival" will be held from October 5 to 9. Starting on October 5, the event will showcase Gyeongju's beautiful cultural and tourism resources.
As for the main event, singers from South Korea's neighboring countries such as Japan, Malaysia, Vietnam, and Thailand will perform on stage. "Asia Song Festival" aims to promote the growth of Pan-Asian pop music.
The "Asia Song Festival" is a representative music festival that has been running since 2004. Such an event has established itself as a representative festival of Asian cultural exchange by providing an opportunity to understand cultural diversity and to feel the homogeneity between neighboring countries through music.
Meanwhile, GOT7 member BamBam and former 2NE1 member Dara were chosen to be the main MC of the "2021 Asia Song Festival." The two recently became labelmates after the latter joined ABYSS Entertainment when her contract with YG Entertainment expired.
