Lisa Surprises Thai Fans By Putting This On Her 'LaLisa' MV
BLACKPINK's Lisa recently held a press conference last September 10 ahead of the release of her first solo single. During the hours-long press conference, which was broadcasted via YouTube Live, she explained in detail the inspiration behind the 'LALISA' music video.
One of the most peculiar and surprising parts of Lisa's 'LALISA' video is her incorporation of Thai culture. The Thai-born South Korean artist explained that it was important for her to show her native Thailand in her first solo single. Lisa furthermore revealed how she and YG producer Teddy mixed Thai vibe into the music, which she said made her very happy.
"I really wanted to include a Thai vibe in the song and Teddy arranged it in a way to include the Thai vibe. So I was very touched and happy," Lisa shared during the launching of 'LALISA' music video.
Lisa's fans from Thailand were pleasantly surprised with the artist's Thai showcase. The now South Korea-based artist has always been big about promoting Thailand and explains that she will always love her home country despite being based in Korea nowadays.
Lisa was also praised for her Thai clothing, donned in all gold and wearing traditional Thai clothing, the pop star looked very beautiful and outshone everyone in the video.
"I also wore Thai clothing this time. I told the director that I really wanted to wear it in the music video. I am so happy that the results came out so pretty," Lisa shared. She also continued by saying that she assimilated traditional Thai dancing in the 'LALISA' choreography.
In other news, 'LALISA' broke YouTube records on its debut, reaching 10 million vies not even hours after its release. The track is produced by Teddy, 24, and Bekuh BOOM and it combines a provocative sound.
