Detective Rosa Diaz As Batwoman? ‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Star Stephanie Beatriz Joining The DC Universe!
"Brooklyn Nine-Nine" star has been confirmed to lend her voice to the DC universe! Just recently, it has been confirmed that Stephanie Beatriz of "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" has gone on to agree to be the voice of Batwoman in an upcoming DC animated movie and fans are livid!
The exciting news was announced just recently by media sources and fans show their love as almost all are happy with the announcement. Stephanie Beatriz is outstanding in her role as Detective Rosa Diaz and her being cast as Batwoman is simply a match made in heaven.
Although the upcoming DC movie will not be in live-action, Stephanie Beatriz is still expected to do an amazing job. Her steel composition and prowess as a detective will surely shine more as Batwoman is also as keen as Rosa Diaz.
The upcoming DC animated film is entitled "Catwoman: Hunted" and aside from Stephanie Beatriz, the film has a pretty amazing cast. Adding to this, the titular character, Catwoman herself, will be voiced by the ever-so-talented Elizabeth Gillies.
More stars in the cast are "Better Call Saul" actor Jonathan Banks as Black Mask, Steve Blum as Solomon Grundy, "The Walking Dead" actress Lauren Cohan as Julia Pennyworth, and Zehra Fazal as both Nosferata and Talia al Ghul.
The upcoming DC animated movie will be directed by Shinsuke Terasawa and the script was done by Greg Weisman. Furthermore, Ethan Spaulding will be the film's producer, and with him is Colin A.B.V. Lewis and Sam Register both as executive producers.
DC's upcoming film "Catwoman: Hunted" is slated to drop in the first half of 2022. No further details have been dropped.
