Stray Kids Becomes #1 For The First Time On The World Digital Song Sales Chart

A week ago, STAYs (the fandom name of Stray Kids) were given an amazing surprise as Stray Kids released the mixtape "OH," a highly-anticipated digital single and music video on the 26th. 

Aside from the amazing new song, STAYs were even more surprised when Stray Kids Hyunjin, who notably started his hiatus in February, was not only in the music video, but also had a lot of lines and a lengthy screen time.

Following the release, Stray Kids' agency, JYP Entertainment, announced that Stray Kids' Hyunjin has ended his 4-month hiatus and will once again be a part of Stray Kids's coming activities, especially in their upcoming album release in August. 

No details regarding Stray Kids' upcoming album in August have been revealed by JYP Entertainment, but it is noted that the release will happen at the same time they will get their reward from Mnet's "Kingdom: Legendary War" for placing #1.

Surely with the amount of good news STAYs received this month, it is only fair for Stray Kids to normalize their releases. But no, the K-pop boy group once again made headlines as JYP Entertainment's Stray Kids' has reached a milestone with their new mixtape: "OH" track.

A milestone that Stray Kids has never reached before!

As of writing this article, on the 6th of July, Billboard went on to reveal that Stray Kids' "Mixtape"OH," made its debut on the top spot on the "World Digital Song Sales chart." Notably, this is the 26th time Stray Kids made its way on the chart but the first time placing #1.

Billboard's "World Digital Song Sales chart" notes down the 25 best-selling digital singles in every genre on the global music scene on a weekly basis.

The second half has started really well for Stray Kids. The K-pop boy group is expected to carry their success moving forward.
