Fox Digital Entertainment announced that a "Futurama" mobile game is coming, titled "Futurama: Game of Drones."

The mobile game is developed by Wooga Games, berlin-based company popular for games like Bejeweled and Puzzle Bobble.  "Futurama: Game of Drones" will allow users to link delivery robots in order to win the game, according to The Verge.

The "Furuturama" mobile game will follow the series' story line, which will include the planet express crew to "fight a desperately imbalanced trade war against longtime shipping rival MomCo" where players have to attach several drones together to complete the puzzle in the game, according to CNET.

Together with Wooga, the design is created by Dave Grossman who wrote "Sam & Max," "The Secret of Monkey Island" and "Tales of Monkey Island." Grossman will collaborate with Patric Verrone, an ex-producer of "Futurama" who wrote "That's Lobstertainment!" and "The Problem with Popplers" episodes. "Game of Thrones" writer, Jonathon Myers will also be joining the team, reported by Engadget.

"Futurama" series was aired on Fox between 1999 and 2003, which was eventually cancelled and made a comeback in 2008 via Comedy Central. The series got cancelled again for the second time in 2013 and had never aired again.

TinyCo previously said in a statement that the company "has not signed a deal for Futurama and has not made any official announcements regarding titles beyond their existing catalog of intellectual properties," according to Venture Beat.

The Wooga developed mobile game is not the first to use the "Futurama" world as reference. In 2003, there were 3D games available for Xbox, PS2 and GameCube that holds the same as the series.

The company has not released an official statement about the "Futurama" mibile game release date. Although, a confirmation from Greg Latham, Wooga's public-manager relations has been released that the game will be compatible for both Android and iOS devices, reported by CNET.
