Earlier last March, reports surfaced that the idol-producer was in discussion to join Jay Park's label H1GHR MUSIC. However, JAY B himself denied the reports during that time.

More than a month after the rumors broke out, JAY B confirms the news that he finally signs with H1GHR MUSIC. According to JAY B, H1GHR MUSIC CEO Jay Park personally reached out to recruit him. Since then, he was in continuous discussion with the former JYP idol and 2PM leader.

After leaving JYP Entertainment along with all the seven members of GOT7, JAY B laid low for almost 5 months, focusing on GOT7's business paperwork and ensuring that the group will be able to release music together in the future. JAY B is the last member to sign officially with a record label, and fans are commending him for being a great leader to GOT7.

JAY B always wanted to become an artist who is free in the musical spectrum, so he shared that he is excited to join H1GHR MUSIC. He sees the agency as a great haven for him to accomplish his musical goals and become the artist that he always wanted to be. JAY B also appreciates Jay Park for trusting him.

The idol-producer has been known to be the mastermind behind some of GOT7's hits such as "You Are," "LOOK," "Teenager," "Lullaby," "You Calling My Name," "ECLIPSE," and "Last Piece."

With the announcement, fans are excited to hear JAY B's future release, especially that H1GHR MUSIC values artistic expression. In addition, by joining H1GHR MUSIC, JAY B will also be able to maximize his full potential and establish himself as a solo artist not just in South Korea but also in the global music scene.

Meanwhile, H1GHR MUSIC welcomed JAY B with an epic official announcement trailer.
