Along with Lee Byung Hun and Park Bo Young, Park Seo Joon has begun filming for an upcoming disaster thriller movie.

The '"Itaewon Class" and "What's Wrong With Secretary Kim" star will be starring as Min Sung, who is a hard-working civil servant that survived a devastating earthquake that hit Seoul. He was chosen to assist Lee Byung Hun's Young Tak in protecting the Hwang Goong Apartments, which is the only building left standing after the massive earthquake.

Park Seo Joon expressed his excitement in taking on the character of Min Sung and the challenge of doing a disaster thriller movie.

"I'm excited to be taking on the challenge of a new genre. I was drawn to the changes in Min Sung's emotions over the course of the incidents that take place within the space of Hwang Goong Apartments, among the people that live there," Park Seo Jeon expressed.

The movie "Concrete Utopia" will be the first time that Park Seo Joon will be working with legendary actor Lee Byung Hoon who has numerous "Best Actor" awards from prestigious award-giving bodies like "Baeksang Arts Awards," "Blue Dragon Awards," and "Grand Bell Awards" under his belt. Meanwhile, "Strong Woman Do Bong Soon" and "Oh My Ghost" star Park Bo Young will play the role of Min Sung's wife, Myung Hwa. She will be a former nurse who will use her skills to take care of the injured.

Park Seo Joon's "Concrete Utopia" is loosely based on a popular webtoon, "Yoyful Outcast" and will follow the story of the survivors at Hwang Goong Apartment, the only building left standing after a massive earthquake hit Seoul. It will be directed by Uhm Tae Hwa and will be distributed by Lotte Entertainment. As of this writing, the date of release of the film is not yet disclosed.
