Some netizens have released some opinions over YG Entertainment's recent upload of iKON's dance practice video, just less than a day after the group's performance of "Love Scenario + Killing Me" on the group competition program "Kingdom." The said episode was broadcasted on April 8.

Netizens voiced out how bad the camera angles were during iKON's performance. This includes less lighting and unnecessary camera switches during the most energetic parts. Some also wonder why they don't turn on a lot of their lights during their performance on stage which caused some of the members of iKON to not stand out. Long-time fans of the group were furious.

This isn't the first time Mnet was criticized for their "problematic camera work." In fact, in their own annual Mnet Asian Music Awards, some K-Pop fans also complained of the problematic and unnecessary camera angles during this highly anticipated music awards event. Not all members of the group are focused, some lights were dimmed, and so on.

YG Entertainment and Mnet already have a rocky relationship as the former boycotted the Mnet Asian Music Awards years ago due to the problematic production of the event, as well as their questionable voting system. Artists from the label also did not like how Mnet handled MAMA that YG artist GDragon performed a diss track on their own show. SM Entertainment also shared the same sentiment with YG, which is why they also boycotted attending MAMA.

iKON was formed by YG Entertainment in 2015. The group currently consists of the following members: Jinhwan, Yunhyeong, Bobby, Donghyuk, Ju-ne, and Chanwoo. They released two Korean albums: "Welcome Back" in 2015 and "Return" in 2018. They also released a Japanese album titled "New Kids" in 2019. They also had world tours from 2016 to 2019 (this includes joint tours under YG.) They were the opening act for Big Bang's "Japan Dome Tour X" concert from 2014 to 2015.
