Kim Jung-hyun Selected To Sing The 'Mr. Queen' OST He Personally Penned

Actor Kim Jung-hyun has been chosen to sing the official soundtrack of the upcoming K-Drama "Mr. Queen." He revealed he also wrote the lyrics of the song.

Kim Jung-hyun is likewise playing the role of Cheoljong in the K-Drama, telling the story of a South Korean chef who is promoted to cook for the country's top-ranking politicians in the presidential residences. He finds himself in the body of the young queen, Kim So Yong, who travels to Korea's past.

"Mr. Queen" will fuse the genres of culinary and politics, bringing the viewers to the controversies surrounding Korea's political landscape.

BIG OCEAN ENM, the entertainment company, managing "Mr. Queen" on Friday, February 12th, officially unveiled Kim Jung-hyun being selected to sing the soundtrack. The actor and singer will sing the OST titled "Like The First Snow."

"Like The First Snow" features an emotional melody and heart-wrenching lyrics that tell about the desperate feelings of a man who wants to be with his lover in the first snowfall. Kim Jung-hyun said he also personally penned the lyrics.

The upcoming "Mr. Queen" soundtrack will be launched this February 17th.

In other news, Soompi said, "Mr. Queen" continues to be one of the most talked-about K-Dramas last week. It is at number one on the list, followed by "True Beauty," "Run On," "She Would Never Know," "The Penthouse" Season 2, "L.U.C.A.: The Beginning," "A Man In A Veil," "Homemade Love Story," "Royal Secret Agent," and "Love Ft. Marriage And Divorce."

The cast of "Mr. Queen" is also working hard to perfect every scene. Korean media outlets are on the set to cover the production. In the first scene, actresses Hye-Sun Shin and Cha Chung-Hwa are rehearsing the acting. The director tells them to put rice wine on her face, so Cha Chung-Hwa places the beverage on her nose.

In the second scene featured, Kim Jung-Hyun is on his horse, rehearsing a scene. The cast is having a great time with each other, the director, and the production team.
