New 'Vincenzo' Snapshots Preview The Obstacles Song Joong-ki's Character Will Encounter In Korea
Korea's A-list actor Song Joong-Ki portrays the role of an Italian lawyer and mafia in the upcoming K-Drama "Vincenzo." The production has unveiled new stills previewing the hurdles that Vincenzo, the actor's character, will encounter in Korea.
The new snapshots are showing the unexpected challenges Vincenzo will encounter in his birth nation, Korea. One of the photos shows him aiming a gun at a different character with his cold, merciless eyes. He seems prepared for what he is about to face in the East Asian nation, but the other photos are showing things are not going to work well for him. He looks tired and frustrated with his suit soiled with dirt.
"Foreigner Vincenzo's entry into Korea will be exciting from the beginning. The events that are about to unfold will be beyond your imagination. Please look forward to a new side of Song Joong Ki you've never seen before," the production team said.
"Vincenzo" will tell the story of Park Joo-hyung, who visits Italy after being adopted, and adapts the name of Vincenzo Cassano, a lawyer who also works for the mafia group as a consigliere, an adviser, or crime boss.
There will be a war between the mafia where he will seek to return to South Korea to become involved with lawyer Hong Cha-young, played by Jeon Ye-been. She is also a lawyer who begins a relationship with Song Jooog-ki's character.
Recently, the "Vincenzo" actors and actresses are seen having fun on the set. They engage in a hilarious scene with an airport staff while filming one of the parts in the series.
"I thought it would be awkward, but I'm having a lot of fun filming, and it feels like we've been filming for a long time. All the characters have strong personalities, so I think you'll all have fun watching," Song Joong-ki shared.
"Vincenzo" will launch this February 20th at 9 p.m. KST. Netflix will stream new episodes of the K-Drama every Saturday and Sunday.
