‘Memory’: Kim Myung-soo’s Gift To Fans Before His Enlistment
Singer and actor Kim Myung-soo, most popularly known as L of K-Pop group INFINITE, releases his first solo music 11 years after his debut.
On February 3 at 6 PM KST, Kim Myung-soo is set to unveil his first solo song, "Memory," as a gift to his loving fans. According to reports from Newsen, "Memory" is Kim Myung-soo's gift to fans prior to his mandatory enlistment in the South Korean Marine Corps schedule on February 22.
Kim Myung-soo will release his first solo track at the beginning of February. He will then enlist in the Marine Corps near the end of February. This solo song is a gift he prepared for fans ahead of his enlistment into the Marine Corps."
"Memory" will be an acoustic pop song with a simple and lyrical guitar sound. Moreover, it has been said that Kim Myung-soo's sincere vocals will enhance the completeness of the song. Its acoustic nature raises expectations for Kim Myung-soo's upcoming release.
"This song does not use electronic instruments, but all uses acoustic instruments, giving it an analogue sensibility," shared Management Esang, Kim Myung-soo's current agency.
The 28-year-old idol-turned-actor has gained explosive attention from fans due to his ethereal visuals and talents since his debut with INFINITE 11 years ago. He first debuted under the name L, and although he departed from Woolim Entertainment in August 2019, he is still part of INFINITE.
Kim Myung-soo had his first acting debut on the Japanese live-action drama "Jiu - Special Investigation Team" where he played the role of Jiu. Meanwhile, his first acting breakthrough was in SBS' "My Lovely Girl," where he played the character of Shi-woo and acted alongside Rain and f(x) Krystal.
Recently, Kim Myung-soo starred as the main lead in the KBS 2TV drama "Royal Secret Agent."
